Gathering user feedback

Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me with this.
Is it possible to create a slide at the end of a course, that allows users to give feedback on what they thought of the course?
If possible, I'd like to gather this information using both multiple choice questions and allowing the user to answer in free text.
How do I do this? Do I use survey questions? If so, how will this be reported to our LMS? We use Scormcloud.
Thanks in advance.
Margaret

  • Yes, you use Survey Questions to collect the info. You'll also need to insert a Survey Results slide, because that's what tell the program to send the survey info to the LMS.

FYI: When you insert a Survey Results slide, it comes with a default set up. But you can edit it to make it look however you want.

      Hi Judy,
thanks very much for getting back to me.
I've checked out the survey questions slide and I think I can adapt them to get the user feedback that I'm after.
I'm just wondering though, how will I actually get this information? What happens to this info when it goes to my LMS?

  • So for example, I've added an essay survey question, to replicate a slide where I'd ask users for views on the course they've just taken.
Where would I see what they've written after they submit this slide and finished the survey?

  • The survey answers are sent to the LMS. You'll have to talk to your LMS team for how to view the info.
