Having some trouble with feedback layers obscuring page numbering
I just tested this in your file, and unchecking "Hide other slide layers" in the Feedback Master would produce this result.
My question still stands - the original file I tried this in has that option checked and still displays the timer.

Without seeing your original file, I can't directly compare both versions. There is obviously some difference affecting the result.
I would agree, except I can't find it and it's driving me nuts. This is something we're hoping to apply to our 200+ course catalog so I'm really trying to understand the in's and out's. I really appreciate your help.
Final thought: In addition to what Thierry shared in his reply and my response to him, I also found that original triggers copied over, along with the "ShowTimer" variable, contributed to the issue in your current file. To verify this, I created a new variable, "TimerShow," and rebuilt the same triggers on both the Feedback Master and Slide Master.
When tested, everything worked as expected. Thierry’s discovery reinforces what has been known for a while but often overlooked—many things can go wrong when slides are simply copied from one project to another without careful review.
