Healthcare Education - How do I make it effective and interesting?!

Hi Emily, A few thoughts/ideas that I have used for healthcare courses I have done to achieve objectives.

• Storytelling and scenario blocks are great, except for the limited character count, which can be frustrating. This link has a character count cheat sheet attached.   https://endurancelearning.com/blog/rise-character-counts/
• Case Studies - user input and decision making, process
• Sorting blocks
• Storyline blocks: These afford more leeway/customization, and the creation of dense (complex) yet concise presentation of information, as well as gamification - a plus.
  (if mobiles are on the menu - note, SL blocks are not responsive among a few other things to look out for)
• Gifs: a great way to draw attention and illustrate key points
• Labeled Graphics: Animated
• Rise Microlearning courses
• Button stacks
• Downloadable Pdfs, job-aids and cheat-sheets...
• Videos
• Podcasts
• Interactive audio stories Interactive Audio Story

- Not to discount the many other blocks available in Rise that can be used creatively to great effect.

Another element I added, to keep a large project of healthcare courses fresh, engaging and to bolster information retention, was to incorporate some minimal graphic design to create flow, grab attention, remind, show process, tie key points together and chunk material...
