Hide Base Items on Review Layer
Hi,
I have a quiz where users can go back through their responses on review layers. I'm using a custom made submit button on the question slides, but I don't want it to appear when the user is on the review slide.
I tried covering it with a white box, but given it's near the bottom of the page, the white box partially covers the 'Correct/Incorrect' banners that appear in review mode.
I then added a custom state to the submit buttons where they're hidden. I then put a trigger on the Review slide to set the state of the submit button to this custom state when the review layer timeline starts. The only issue with that is the submit button appears for a split second at the start of the review slide and then disappears. It's fine, but it just looks a little bit unprofessional.
Is there any such trigger as 'Set state of X to Y when timeline, on condition user is in review mode'. I couldn't seem to see something like this in the trigger window, unless anyone knows such a function is called something else?
Does anyone have a solution for this?
Thanks!

You don't need to add "a custom state to the submit buttons where they're hidden." You can simply change the state of any object to Hidden.
- Note: Hidden doesn't appear in the States panel. You should not create a custom state with that name.
However, the simplest way to hide an object on the base layer while viewing another layer (such as the Review layer) is to turn off the base object's visibility in the layer's Timeline.
