Hide Menu button in Modern Player

I am using on-screen button to show/hide the Menu in Modern player. I want to hide the actual menu button from the player.   Please share your ideas.

OK.  I do have the 'menu' unchecked, but still the 'Menu' shows up on the top navigation bar.  What am I doing wrong?  I really do not  want this visible.  Many thanks.
