How can I bring objects through to another slide based on state?
I have managed to figure it out and its working perfectly! took a while but got there in the end.
I set up a variable to each statement to select. I then set up the Select 1, 2 and 3 to display the outcomes. I used variables to display the statement in selection 1 if the option was set to selected, but if none others were selected. Then option 2 and 3 were set if the statement was selected, the variable was currently blank, and it wasnt the same as selection 1. and then did the same for selection 3. Lots of triggers and variables but it works perfectly for what I need.

Hi! I'm working through the exact same thing right now. I'm curious, how did you have your learners "select" the 3? What was the mechanism?
I essentially built each of my statements with a custom checkbox within States. So the statement with a checkmark = "selected"

Hi Michelle, would you be willing to share screenshots/examples of the variables you used?

Hi CricketLorenze! I'm not sure if MichellePike-56 still receives notifications from this thread, but I'm sure others can help! If you can share a .story file or screenshot of what you've built so far, that would give others a place to start.

Thank you for your reply, Lauren! I'm working on my first Storyline project so I'm a little embarrassed to be sharing so early. I did consult ChatGPT and I'm going to see what it comes up with. It basically cleanly listed out some steps for me (similar to what was suggested above). Once I get my slides more built out I will be sure to upload. Thank you again for suggesting others can help.

I am still here :) I went to look at the file to do some screen shots, but what I have created is so in depth in relation to other screens, I dont think the shots of the triggers would make any sense!

Hi Michelle, Thank you so much for replying!
Would you be ok with sharing some of your file with me? I understand if you aren't comfortable with that. No worries at all.
Much appreciated!
Cricket
