Duplicating layers causing objects to ungroup
I'm having problems when copying/duplicating layers inside a slide on Storyline, when pasting the new layer it causes any grouped objects to ungroup, and also any text boxes added to scroll panels to also ungroup etc.
This happens regardless of if the layer is copied or duplicated, and happens whether the layer is within the same slide or another. It's resulting in having to regroup lots of objects and apply animations all over again multiple times. very tedious.
I've never had this issue previously. what's happening?
Hey Adam
I think you will find this is fixed in today's update.

Hi AdamKara-70ea5e,
Sorry to hear that you've run into this setback!
As Ron mentioned, we previously had this behavior logged as a bug in Storyline 360. This bug caused Grouped objects to become ungrouped when a Layer was duplicated. I'm happy to share that we've just released version 3.111.36309.0, which corrects this issue.
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please let me know if you need any additional help!
