How can I export all of the audio from a Storyline?
I've just recorded the narration for my first Storyline course. In Presenter, I usually open the audio editor and export ALL of the narration to a file. It shows up nicely with slide numbers and names. I can't find this feature in Storyline. I see that I could work with/export the audio one slide at at time, but doing that would be really tedious. Since Storyline crashed halfway through my first attempt to record and didn't keep any of the audio, I think it's going to be really important to have a back up copy.

is there any update on this please? can we yet export all audio files in one go? also, is there a way to import a load of audio files in one go and have them assign themselves to slides throughout a course or do they all need to be painstakingly imported one by one?
Hi Rob!
In Storyline, we currently have the Media Library where you can import all the audio files into your course and export all of your media files out of your course.
Here's what it looks like:
There isn't a way to select which slide the audio is imported to but you can add audio files using the Media Library.

This is just the solution I was looking for! Thanks.

I am aware of the audio library but with that you still need to assign each of the audio files to the slides - i was hoping for a way to do that automatically by exporting just the audio from one scene and then importing it to another preserving the slide and position from the original scene.

I think the easiest way to do that might be to import (or duplicate if in the same file) your previous scene and then delete all of the on screen content. It would keep everything in current position.

Hi all,
I've created an app that does the following:- Upload a Storyline 360 file
- Export an Excel XLSX report of all closed captions in the Storyline file. The report shows the original media filename and the filename that Storyline generates.
- Edit captions in the report.
- Generate captions via speech-to-text.
- Generate audio via text-to-speech.
- Download Storyline 360 file with updated captions.
I am looking for files for testing. While I'm still in the testing phase, if you can share a Storyline 360 file with me, and if the app works with your content, I can return to you:
- the Excel report, with transcripts, by slide, with filename maps, word count, and slide notes
- your media and caption files
- your updated Storyline 360 file with generated/updated captions
I can be reached at jimbertelsen@gmail.com
Thanks!

I would love to see at least a basic captioning tool built into Articulate360 that would save the need to export each individual audio file, then reupload the VTT caption file. Please add that simple feature.
