How do I disable a drop/drag target?
I've created a drop/drag with three drag items and three corresponding drop targets. While each drag item is only correct on one target, I don't want to give that away to the learners, so I'm returning the drag item to its original location and showing a layer that indicates a correct drop on the specific target.
What I want to do is disable that target once the correct drop has been made. I've tried changing the target state to both 'disabled' and 'hidden', but neither of those options work; i.e., the software still sees the target and lets me drop on it. I also tried putting a shape over the target once a correct drop was made (no line, 99% transparent) but that didn't work either.
This seems like something that should be easily doable, but I'm stumped.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

JayCooper: Because you don't want the user to know right away whether or not a choice is correct, you could use an array of buttons instead of a drag-and-drop.
This post has a file with examples: TIP: Ranking-Order Interaction | E-Learning Heroes
Here's what the 2nd example looks like:
The user can only select one button in each row. The title refers to ranking order, but the same programming could be used to match/sort based on other criteria.

Hi, because your items return to their start point, the target is empty again after a correct drop, so the simplest fix is to disable the drag item rather than the target. Add a trigger: change state of [item] to Disabled when [item] is dropped on [its correct target]. It snaps back as now, shows your layer, and can't be dragged again. Any other item dropped on that target is incorrect for it anyway, so it will just return as normal.
