How do I make a video start automatically when open it up in a new browser window?

Thanks for explaining. Then my video is not "external" and my question most likely misunderstood.
In Storyline, I have selected insert "video from file". My video is now available within Storyline and visible on my timeline, i.e. not external. In video tool option, I select show video "in a new browser window".
And now to my issue: I would like this video to play "automatically", but this selection is greyed out (see attachment). The only option is "when clicked". How do I go about to make it to play automatically?
