How To - Keep a Menu Tab Always Open

I frequently use the DRAWING / FORMAT / SIZE and POSITION tab.  I want to keep that very specific Format tab open all the time without having to re-click my way thru all of those menus each time I select a new object on the slide to tweak its size and position to something very specific.

I need help looking that sub-menu.

Thank you.

  • I would love to have this functionality as well. I'm constantly using the size and position information. It's such a small thing, but I feel my frustration level continually rising throughout the day when I'm toggling between objects.
It would be nice if we could "pin" that section to the toolbar, quick access or even just pin the Size and Position pop out window. Currently I use the pop-out window and leave that up on my second monitor. It works pretty well, but when I change something it's hard to stop my muscle memory from clicking the Close button as if it were an Apply button. I could be happy with a "Pin" button that could be toggled on and off to prevent me from accidentally closing the window. Just some thoughts.

  • Hi ArthurSmith-f7a,

Thanks for reaching out and detailing what you'd like to see with this tool!

There's an option to customize the quick access toolbarby right-clicking a menu item, and selecting Add to Quick Access Toolbar. Some sub-menu items can't be added, such as Size and Position. You'll have to select Drawing tools > Format to change the size and position. I've shared your thoughts with our developers so we'll let you know if this changes!
