How To Confirm A Course Is Complete

Is there a way to confirm a course is complete? When I publish my course to my LMS, the final slide still has the next button but it doesn't lead to anything. Then when I save and exit the...
Follow CherylStGermain's suggestion, and check how you're tracking completion. A "Complete course when the timeline of this slide starts" trigger on the last slide is a good way to track if there's no quiz and the user might not view all the slides.
I also suggest you remove the Next button from the last slide. It doesn't make sense to show that when there is no next slide. You can hide the Next button by deselecting it in the Slide Properties.
