I need bigger brains than mine please
Hi Daniel - Not quite sure exactly how you see this working, but I hope this might help. We use slider-based surveys in some of our client projects (although there is no reason why each slider could not be replaced with a radio button multiple choice).
The screen is NOT a quiz - you just create the screen and insert sliders or radio buttons. The SUBMIT button just goes to the next screen. But you have the values input stored in variables e.g.
You can then manipulate the feedback or calculate what you like with these numbers e.g. I could give specific feedback to anyone scoring over 25 on this screen suggesting they should seriously have their sense of taste tested!
Using Quizzes and the feedback from them limits you with this type of application. Fortunately Storyline has enough power to build the questionnaire from scratch - and you can always add a bit of JavaScript if you need more complex math with the results.
Oh - and there's a demonstration on this page of our site that uses this technique and then downloads the results as a pdf file...
