Image size

Hi.

Maybe a dumb question but out of curiosity, I'd still like to ask.

  1. Does Rise have an image engine that reduces the size of the image once it s uploaded or publish?

I mean if I use a 10 mb size image as an image banner and publish it as scorm, would Rise reduced the resolution or do I have to make sure that I do the resolution reduction using an external image editing application?

And if I do, what's the recommended pixel dimension and image resolution (i.e 3000px on longest on 72 or 96ppi??

Just interested on what Rise does on image pixel dimension/res once it's publish. Thanks.

  • Hi Ericson!

That's not a dumb question at all!

If you want your image to display exactly as you saved it, you can add _NOPROCESS_ to the name of your image file.

More information can be found in this link about Best Practices for Images, Video, and Audio in Rise 360.
