Images randomly disappearing and reappearing on slide as I'm working

Happy to look into this for you!
Have you tried importing all the slides in the project into a new project file to refresh it? Importing slides into a new project sometimes helps fix issues related to possible data corruption. You can check your course's Media Library to see if any of the images that disappear have unusual file sizes.
If nothing seems out of the ordinary, please share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case so we can take a closer look. We'll delete it when we're done testing!
