Images with Animations Flickering
Hi PSlowey!
Happy to help!
I tested this on my end in the current version of Storyline 360, but was unable to replicate the same behavior. Are you experiencing this issue when previewing your course within Storyline, or after it's been published?
If it's the former, and you've confirmed that you are working locally, please try a repair of your Storyline installation to see if that improves the issue. If you're still having trouble, seeing a copy of the story file, as well as a screen recording of the behavior, would be helpful. Feel free to share those items here in the discussion or privately through a support case.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi Steven,
Would you mind looking at the slide where I see the flickering? I am seeing it in review mode and haven't tested on an LMS, as this is an early alpha. I would love to know if this is something I am doing wrong or a technique for smoothing out images that I am not aware of. All help appreciated!

Hello PSlowey and HoneyTurner,
Thanks for sharing additional information about the behavior you're experiencing. I can confirm we are currently tracking a known issue where objects with exit animations flicker when followed by audio in the timeline. I've added this community thread to the bug report so we can notify everyone here as soon as a fix is released.
In. the meantime, you can downgrade your installation to Storyline 360 Update 92 and republish your course as a workaround!

Thank you Jose for your time and the response. I really appreciate it. I might try the downgrade to Update 92 to see if that works.

Shifting the audio a tiny bit also works. I think even .05seconds is enough.
Or you can move the audio to trigger: when timeline ends on [animated-object], play media [audio]
Depending how often it occurred in the project, these might be more work, but they avoid introducing issues from prior versions.

Thank you, these are good ideas. I am reluctant to downgrade the version like suggested - I am worried this could cause misalignment with other parts of the course and other files I am currently working on. I will try adding that trigger to play off of an image. I appreciate the help!
