Import Player File
I have the same problem when I try to "import" but what's weird is that when I go to "open" the player name I'm trying to get doesn't appear in the list. The file is an .xml file in the "My Articulate Projects" folder. Should it be somewhere else?

I know this is old, but today I have the same problem. The message says there is already a player with that name, but I cannot find one anywhere with the same name. I don' t want to create a new player name every time I upload the player into a new project. I have followed all the steps suggested. I feel like I am missing something. I am using 360.

It appears that you have gone through the steps listed here to save a custom player template on your local hard drive (C: drive). Have you conducted a simple repair of Storyline to see if that resolves the issue?
