Input text box with outline does not display properly

I have a file with multiple input text boxes. I have changed the formatting so that they have a white background and an outline. There seems to be a bug in Storyline 360 whereby input text boxes that have an outline, are truncated on right. It doesn't matter how the text is justified. When you type in the text box, the text displays where it should, but the formatted box does not. Text and the box displays properly for input text boxes without an outline.
I know I could remove all formatting and put a shape with an outline behind the text box, but that is a hack - not a solution. I spent over an hour trying to figure out what the problem was. The attached screengrabs show an example - of the boxes in Storyline and then published on Review with some text typed in. The issue appears when viewed in both Chrome and Firefox.
If you could fix this, it might save some troubleshooting time for others.
