Insert Video from File vs. Insert Video from Website
I am working on two courses, and they are both very video heavy. The last course I did like this was causing issues for users on older model Apple devices and after several months of working with Articulate, it was found that there was no viable solution.
I think part of the issue was how large the courses were with the embedded video files. If I upload the videos unlisted on YouTube first and then embed them into the course, would that make the files smaller and maybe easier for older model Apple products to handle? The user would need an internet connection to access the course in the first place based on the set up of our LMS, so learner internet access isn't a factor in my decision.
What is your preference when working with large multimedia files in courses?

The apple devices should be able to handle the video fine, the issue maybe the version of iOS they have and the version of Safari which may limit what you can do, also the older apple devices could not handle a lot of JS
