Humble opinion. Delete THIS post since you also asked in a better place for this post.
ADDIE is more a planning model while SAM is more a production model.
Allen's CCAF (Context, Challenge, Action, Feedback) is probably the best model if you want your learners to understand, retain, and replicate what you are presenting.
