Introducing Quick Share: One-Click Publishing for Everyday Learning

We’re excited to share a brand-new way to get your Rise content out into the world: Quick Share!

What Is Quick Share?

Quick Share lets you publish Rise courses instantly and share them with a simple link, no LMS setup, no logins, no admin delays. You’ll also get light analytics so you can see how many people viewed your course (and, with the Guestbook enabled, who those learners are).

It’s all about speed and simplicity, helping learners get the right information at the right time without barriers.

When to Use Quick Share

Quick Share is perfect for everyday learning content that needs to move fast:

  • Job aids and quick reference materials
  • Presentations or meeting resources
  • Explainer modules and how-tos
  • Operational updates or announcements
  • Pre-boarding and onboarding refreshers

It’s also a great way to share examples right here in the E-Learning Heroes community. It’s a fast way to showcase your creativity, get feedback, and inspire fellow creators.

If you need deeper, learner-level analytics or advanced group management, that’s where Reach or your LMS comes in. Quick Share can live alongside those tools to give you flexibility.

Community Use Cases

We love seeing how community members are already using Quick Share:

  • BradDameron uses it to share preview links and resources across departments. “The Guestbook gives us a general view of engagement — perfect for quick stakeholder visibility,” he shared.
  • JeremyNash uses Quick Share to deliver client-specific training without needing an LMS: “It’s a great step between Preview and Review.”
  • JessicaDecker found it helpful for external partners: “We need to share training with outside vendors who don’t have LMS access. The Guestbook is nice so we can still track who’s taken it.”

Try It Out!

Quick Share is automatically available for all Articulate 360 creators, no setup required and no extra cost.

💬 Have you tried Quick Share yet? How are you using it? Share your experiences (and any creative use cases) in the comments below!

  • This is really interesting. I have a situation this morning where we are not able to put a course into our LMS yet we are waiting for approval, but some students need to take the course. They’re not concerned about credit, but I like the idea of a guest book. On any rise module can I just select quick share give the link to the person who needs it and it works it does not impact the original rise file at all with this be a scenario that this could work we just temporarily need the students to take the module.

Hi TeresaVanderpos, yes, you can publish to Quick Share, then share the link with learners. If you have the Quick Share guestbook enabled, you will gather learners' first and last names, as well as email addresses. This won't change your existing Rise course and you will be able to publish it to your LMS, once it's approved.

Great, we used it this morning, and I love the time it saved me, as usually when we have these situations I publish to web then export then put on the server.....so much time saved.  Great win!

  • I like this feature and have a question: Does Quick Share provide completion status for those who engage with the course? Does it track number of slides view, quiz answers, etc.? It would be nice if it did! This feature could then act as a sandbox for some courses.

      Hi VinceGrabowski,

It's always great to hear positive feedback.

With Quick Share, you can see how many learners have viewed your content by opening the Publish menu on your shared item. For more details, you can also check out this article: Deploy Content Rapidly with Quick Share

Please feel free to reach out if you need anything else!

It might also be useful if the data was able to be captured in a .csv file so that if you need to make content available before you implement it in your LMS, or if it needs to accessible to people who don't have access to your LMS (e.g., external learners), you can still upload the data to an LMS to create the records for reporting purposes. It might need to include a field such as Employee or Learner ID, not just name and email, because I would expect most LMSes would utilise a unique number to identify each individual.

  • It is so incredibly frustrating to see things like this be prioritized over improvements that have been asked about for YEARS!

Things such as custom color palettes, custom text styles, drag and drop blocks have been repeatedly asked for features and they seem to be ignored.

Hi RebeccaRoehm-ed! Totally understand the frustration, and I apologize on behalf of the Articulate team. These are all valuable requests we’ve heard from many customers. Quick update: Drag-and-drop blocks (if I'm interpreting the request correctly) are actually in development now and should launch later this month to make rearranging content much smoother. This will create a much more streamlined authoring experience in terms of making bulk edits to individual lessons. Custom color palettes and text styles are things we continue to explore. While I can't share a date yet, they’re not off the table.

We know it can be discouraging when long-requested features take time. Some improvements, especially around branding, touch a lot under the hood (accessibility, responsiveness, older content), so we want to get them right. Appreciate you sharing your feedback, as it really does help us prioritize. Thank you for being an Articulate user!

I was thinking the same thing. From what it looks like, your options are two either set a password or duplicate the course and delete the original course with the quick share enabled.

  • Hi, how can we change centrally the settings of the quickshare (e.g. from Guestbook on to off  and Live updates from off to on? ) as we noticed these settings appeared on all our Rise courses. Thanks

      Hi KarenVanVooren!

      Great question!

Currently, Rise 360 Quick Share options can only be modified at the individual course level when generating the link. Rise does not yet offer a setting to globally adjust these options. Thanks for letting us know this functionality is important to you. I've submitted this as a feature request on your behalf!

We'll be sure to notify you if we release a future enhancement that helps!

  • Hi Team,
It is a great concept and feature.
    Questions:
    1. Can you modify the info captured in the guestbook?
    2. Can you connect the info captured in the guestbook with a webhook or API or similar fashion like connecting with Zappier or Pabbly?
    3. Can you modify the text and description in the guestbook form?
