Introducing Quick Share: One-Click Publishing for Everyday Learning
We’re excited to share a brand-new way to get your Rise content out into the world: Quick Share!
What Is Quick Share?
Quick Share lets you publish Rise courses instantly and share them with a simple link, no LMS setup, no logins, no admin delays. You’ll also get light analytics so you can see how many people viewed your course (and, with the Guestbook enabled, who those learners are).
It’s all about speed and simplicity, helping learners get the right information at the right time without barriers.
When to Use Quick Share
Quick Share is perfect for everyday learning content that needs to move fast:
- Job aids and quick reference materials
- Presentations or meeting resources
- Explainer modules and how-tos
- Operational updates or announcements
- Pre-boarding and onboarding refreshers
It’s also a great way to share examples right here in the E-Learning Heroes community. It’s a fast way to showcase your creativity, get feedback, and inspire fellow creators.
If you need deeper, learner-level analytics or advanced group management, that’s where Reach or your LMS comes in. Quick Share can live alongside those tools to give you flexibility.

Community Use Cases
We love seeing how community members are already using Quick Share:
- BradDameron uses it to share preview links and resources across departments. “The Guestbook gives us a general view of engagement — perfect for quick stakeholder visibility,” he shared.
- JeremyNash uses Quick Share to deliver client-specific training without needing an LMS: “It’s a great step between Preview and Review.”
- JessicaDecker found it helpful for external partners: “We need to share training with outside vendors who don’t have LMS access. The Guestbook is nice so we can still track who’s taken it.”
Try It Out!
Quick Share is automatically available for all Articulate 360 creators, no setup required and no extra cost.

I just discovered the Quick Share and made a link to use. When I send the link, it shows an incorrect image. I've changed the image associated with the cover page (although I'm not using that layout)
, and it still shows the old image associated
with the link. How do I get the right image to show up?
Hi SaraEveritt!
Great to hear that you've been exploring Quick Share!
The Quick Share UI alerts authors whenever updates are made to a course. After changing your images, can you confirm that you've "Published updates" before generating a new link?
Also, have you checked your Lesson Headers to ensure the unwanted image isn't coming from that section of the course?
You can access those settings by navigating to Theme > Lesson Headers.
If you're still having issues, it would be helpful to see the Quick Share link that's giving you trouble. Feel free to share that here in the discussion or privately in a support case.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

I did publish updates. This is a microlearning, and I do not see an option for lesson headers as there are no lessons.

Another comment about Guestbook similar to some other comments people have left regarding customizations or additional functionality with the Guestbook feature. It would be nice to be able to share the Engagements report with others who do not have an Articulate account. Right now, only the people on my team (me and one other person) who have Articulate accounts can view the engagements and then export it to share with the course stakeholders. It would be nice if it could be scheduled to be sent via email to specified people.

I've noticed now that with quickshare you cannot actually view what password is on the quickshare link, so if you have previously shared and then want to share with someone else but want to confirm the password, you cant, you have to reset it?
is there any plans to bring back the option where you can view the password you have set?
Hello ElaineMarie,
Thanks for reaching out! I can confirm this behavior is expected with Quick Share passwords. After publishing, the password is securely stored and cannot be viewed again, even by the course owner. This is done to protect access to your content.
If you no longer have the password or need to share the course again, you can reset the password at any time. This will update password credentials for everyone using the Quick Share link.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Is there an easy way to know which courses were shared using QuickShare? I'm trying to move those to their own folder, so I know what's been shared.
Hi Montsea!
Great question!
Currently, Rise 360 courses that have been Quick Shared do not display an indication of that when looking at the dashboard. For now, you would have to open the course itself and check the Quick Share tab.
I understand streamlining this process could improve your workflow. I've submitted this as a feature request on your behalf!
We'll be sure to notify you if we release a future update that helps.

Thank you StevenBenassi. I still have a handle on my shared links for now, but I can see a real need in the not-so-distant future. Thanks again.

I no longer see the publish button where I could get the quick share link and set up a password. Where did it go?
Hi LizJones-0ebc82 & castro!
Sorry to hear you're unable to access Quick Share in Rise 360!
On 01/20/2026 our team identified and fixed a bug that caused the 'Publish' button to display as 'Export'. I'm happy to share that this issue has been resolved, and you should be able to publish a Quick Share link by navigating to Publish > Quick Share.
Please clear your browser's cache, and let me know if you're still having trouble!

I also no longer see the quick share button!

It's now under the Publish button: Publish / Quick Share

Quick Share is a great tool!
However, it currently doesn’t allow embedding the course in an iframe.
When opening the link, it launches a new browser window. I would love to have the option to open it directly within my blog or website instead. - LeiLingChan-e16Community Member
Does Articulate keep a copy of the guests' information that is collected? My company is concerned with the personal data protection and do not wish their clients' getting unsolicited emails.

I am soooo excited to start using this! It's exactly what we have been looking for to quickly share content and track who's looking at it instead of uploading to an LMS. Thank you!

I'm using Rise QuickShare to quickly provide content to users to pilot this type of course and to avoid the overhead required of our internal processes to upload to the LMS. We will work toward uploading to the LMS but will use this for now. I like the Guestbook feature as a way to at least have a view of who has accessed the course and when it was accessed. I have a few questions:
- Is there a way to remove or edit guestbook entries? I have been testing it and want to remove my entries.
- Are there plans to add any LMS features to QuickShare, such as bookmark (retaining place in course when leaving), and completion tracking (based on criteria such as viewing all lessons or scoring of assessments)?
Hi KatherineMahon-!
So glad to hear you and your team have been exploring Rise 360 Quick Share!
I'm happy to provide some additional insight, and allow me to answer your questions individually:
1) Currently, there isn't a way to edit or delete guestbook entries once they've been created. You can disable the Guestbook feature for future Quick Share links generated for that course. However, previous Guestbook entries will still be present on the Engagement dashboard. I do understand that having more control over these dashboard items can improve your experience as a course owner. I've submitted this as a feature request on your behalf!
2) Since Quick Share is still new, it may undergo changes or have new features added in the future. Ultimately, Quick Share is designed as a lightweight way to share Rise courses with stakeholders. It was never intended to act as a replacement for an LMS. If you require deeper tracking and learner analytics, publishing your Rise course to LMS is the better option for now.
Please let me know if you need anything else!

Thank you for the quick reply. I understand about not being a replacement of the full LMS. At a minimum, it would be nice to have bookmarking/placekeeping in the Quick Share version.

When it says, in a different Articulate Quick Share article, "Note: The view count includes repeat views by the same learner. You may need to refresh your training view to see the latest engagement information." does that mean if I have a view count of say, 50 views, that can include people who have viewed the training twice? Or will it tell me how many unique views have visited the link vs repeat viewers? Thanks!
Hi CaitlinGill,
Great question! The view count in Quick Share shows the total number of views, and it can include repeat views from the same learner. It doesn’t distinguish between unique viewers and repeat visitors in that number.
If you have the guestbook enabled, that’s where you’ll see unique learner entries, since each person’s most recent visit is logged with their name and email. But the overall view count itself will go up each time anyone reloads or revisits the training.
Please let me know if you have any other questions about Quick Share.

Okay thank you for the help! I appreciate the quick response.
