Irratic behaviour when cropping images
Hello Everyone!
I'm happy to share that we have released a new update for Storyline 360 (Build 3.87.32265.0).
In this update, we have implemented a fix for:
- Erratic movement made cropping a rotated image difficult.
As a first step, I recommend updating Storyline 360 to the latest version. Here's how:
If you have any questions on Update 87, please let us know in this thread or privately in a support case.
Have a great day!
Storyline Community,
I discovered today (after reading this thread) that the erratic behavior I was seeing when trying to crop in Storyline occurred while I was attempting to crop an image after rotating it. Don't rotate an image before you crop it. Or, rotate, save image as, insert rotated image, and crop away.
Happy Cropping (sans hair-pulling-out hysterics),

Thank you! This was exactly my problem. I could not figure out for the life of me while some pictures would crop with zero issues and other times I was fighting resizing and shifting.

You are BRILLIANT, Paul. This was the fix I needed. Still strange that Storyline can't handle cropping a rotated image... what a weird quirk!
Glad you posted how to get around this. Thanks!
