Is there a way to move entire sections?
Hello,
I'm trying to rearrange 192 lessons that are contained within 21 different sections. I want to only move the 21 sections (with their content/lessons) and not have to move each one of the individual lessons. Is this possible? If not, do you have any suggestions to rearrange these lessons without major confusion?

Yes; has this been resolved?
Hi there, Michele. We haven't made changes to the course outline. Lessons can still be moved individually, not in groups.

Can a Content piece within a lesson be copied to and included in another lesson?

Hi Catherine,
You can copy a block from one lesson to another using block templates:

Hi!
What is the status of this feature to enable rearranging the order of sections (including the lessons within)?
Thank you!
Hi Joy! Thanks for following up! There haven't been any changes on how lessons can be moved in bulk or via sections. Lessons are still moved individually, not in sections. If we do make any updates to this, we'll let you know.

I tool think being able to move sections or multiple lessons at once would be a great feature!

Thanks for your feedback! We'll make sure to update this thread once we make changes that will help!

I want to move a section all the way down to the bottom (skipping past dozens of other sections) with one button press, or a copy/paste function.
At the moment I have to keep clicking on the down arrow as it slowly makes its way past each section one by one, and it takes ages.
Thanks.

Hi Stephen,
You can use a Block Template for this purpose. Create a Block Template for the block you want to move. Then delete that block from the Lesson. Go to the place in the Rise lesson where the block should go and insert the copied block from the Block Template library.

Excellent, I shall try this, thank you!

BTW in Rise a "Section" and a "block" are not the same thing.
To add on to what Karl shared, you can drag sections and lessons one by one in the course outline, but I completely understand the frustration when you have numerous sections and lessons. We've documented this request so we can follow up with you here if we build a way to make this easier.
Thanks!

The procedure for arranging content right now is clunky and time-consuming. The ability to drag and drop pieces of content, copy and paste them from one section to another, etc. is critical. Using a block template as a workaround not the solution.

Agreed Tracy,
Workarounds are not solutions... and this one is a whopper.
