Is there any equation editor?

I am working on a course that involves mathematical equations and fractions. Is there a simple and less time-consuming way to enter fractions? I have to currently insert three text boxes for numerator, denominator and the dividing line. I saw a discussion around this in the community that is posted around 6 yrs back and I am hoping that there is a way out now. Kindly suggest.

  • Hello everyone, 🎉

I have some great news to share. We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 97, we’ve included essential fixes and new features. One of the new features we’ve included is:

    • Build math equations using LaTeX syntax and revise them by adding color and alt text, all within Storyline 360.

Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You’ll find our step-by-step instructions here.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have additional questions.

  • Please record my voice too, since I would really like to see this function. At the moment I have to turn to third party solutions. I sometimes use https://chat.openai.com/g/g-a0ULgFcuZ-essay-helper for this. Because this essay helper can recognize formulas and assignments with photos, and turn them into text. I just ask him to write down the equations in one line. But this is not very clear to students, and I alternate this with inserting a picture.

  • Agreed.  That is so limiting, I would not recommend use of this product if queried, but it is what we are stuck with...

  • I firstly used Storyline about four years ago and it needed an equation editor then. I am now returning to using Storyline this week and I am desperate for an equation editor.

Please add my vote for this feature.  PowerPoint handles equations.  It is well beyond time that Storyline did too.
