Is there any way to batch import audio files in Storyline?
I want to batch import audio files in Storyline, similar to how I do it in Presenter. Is this possible? If not, is it an upcoming feature?
thanks,
Elizabeth

I would love to see batch importing in Storyline 2. I'm coming over from Presenter (this is my fourth project) and my SME's are all doing their own audio in Power Point. I'm stripping the audio using a .zip trick then bringing in to Storyline 2. It's a bit tedious...but not too bad. I just realized I'd have been done quite a while ago if I'd been using Presenter and bulk import. Let the products folks know this could be a great feature for people making the switch.

Here's a tip guys, until there is such a thing as batch import for audio files.
Rght-click the insert audio button then select Add to Quick Access Toolbar. Adding it to the toolbar means it now has a keyboard shortcut assigned to it. That shortcut will be ALT + a number, based on the order of the quick access buttons. So usually ALT + 1 will be the save button. 2 and 3 will be the Undo/Redo buttons, and if you haven't added any other buttons then the insert audio will be next, so ALT + 4.
This makes it a little quicker and easier to add audio to each slide.

Batch import, drag and drop import, or some simpler and easier way to import than clicking a button and selecting each individual file on each slide would be very nice.
I've been using Articulate products since 2012 (Presenter, Storyline 1, Storyline 2, and now Storyline 360) and I have heard complaints from users since Storyline was introduced, saying they want to add audio in ways other than the two standard options, and nothing has been addressed in these years.
I am starting to wonder if Articulate even cares that there is a real, valid concern among users that importing audio is a slow, tedious process, especially for those projects with a large number of slides. I frequently have over 100 slides with audio. Importing audio adds a significant amount of time in these projects, not to mention the wear and tear on my clicking finger.
Please consider this another request for a feature to improve the procedure for adding audio to a project.

Hi David,
You mentionned "wear and tear" on your clicking finger. Did you catch my post from a year ago (just a few above your own). Using that keyboard shorcut will at least significantly reduce that wear and tear! :)
