Issue with States not changing with Triggers/Variables
Hello,
I am trying to create an interaction on a single layer of a slide where the user clicks an item in a dropdown to select it. When the user clicks the item in the drop down, the drop down state is supposed to become hidden. However, what I am experiencing is when the interaction completes, as soon as the user moves their mouse, the drop down (text box only) reappears. I have tried many different ways to try and make this work, including creating and implementing variables, having objects appear where the user mouse pointer would be after clicking, etc. Nothing is working. I have a workaround in mind, but that involves utilizing more layers to make the interaction work (see base layer). Does anyone know why this is happening? Thank you! I've included the slide in a product on this post.

I can't look at your file at the moment, so I can't say what might be going wrong.

Jennifer, I tested your file and I can't seem to see the problem, the menu dissapears and it all looks fine.
I can't recreate the issue either.
Hello, all! Thank you for trying to help me. The base layer has a drop down that works just fine because it is simply taking the user to another layer. The issue I am experiencing is actually on layer 3 with the drop down being under the "Type" column. I've added a screen recording for you all to see the problem. Thanks, again!
