Issue with Storyline Slide Masters
I have a course with two Slide Masters (Storyline):
- One blank, used for the splash screen
- The other with a header for course tiles, page numbers, exit and menu buttons
The majority of the slides use the second type. The issue I'm having, upon reopening the course to continue working on it, many of the slides switch over the blank slide master. While it's an easy fix, I have to run through every slide on the course and manually apply the correct layout. Is this a bug?
Even more strange, I deleted all but one slide so that I could work on it and test it in isolation. But when I go to view the slide masters, it shows that the master is being used by 50 slides, even though there's only 1 slide in the course.

The layout applied to a slide shouldn't change by itself. I suggest you contact Articulate support about that: https://access.articulate.com/support/contact
If the course has a Question Bank (QB), that's probably where the master is being used. QB "slides" don't appear in Story View, but they are associated with a Slide Master.
If the course doesn't have a QB, yet a Slide Master indicates it's used by 50 slides, well, that's another issue to tell support.

You are correct! The 50 count was coming from the pesky Question banks I forgot to delete.
The switching master slides still needs to be resolved. And the same thing happened to a coworker this morning, different course.

If you and your colleague recently updated Storyline, be sure to include that info when you submit the case to support. I saw another discussion recently about Menus rebuilding, which deleted the adjustments someone had manually made. So this issue may also be related to the Storyline version.
