Linking Quizzes Result Slides

Hello,

I don´t know if this is possible, but my clients wants us to create 2 quizzes in the course, one at the beginning of the course, as a initial self-evaluation and the other one at the end of the course, as final self-evaluation. But, in the initial one, they don't want the results to come out. However, they want that when students does the final one, they can compare the results of both.

Is there any way of doing this in Storyline?

Thank you

  • Hi Alba,

Great question! I understand you'd like to have two quizzes in your course but would like to only see the results slides for both at the end of the second quiz. I'd be happy to work with you to set this up! I have recorded a Peek video to show you how I set this up. The link is below!

Two Quizzes with Both Results Slides at the End of the Course

I also attached the file I built for you to take a look at.

I hope this helps you out!

    Hi John,

Thank you for your prompt response, that´s great and really helpful!!

But Just one thing...what about if the course is created on Rise with Storyline blocks in it? What I mean is, self reflection 1 would be at a section in Rise, then would be a content video in the middle, and then would be a the Self reflection 2 in a section below. Is there any way to link those storyline blocks to ending having the same result as you`ve just showed me? I guess no, as it should be a same publication, but I wonder if there would be some tricks..??

    Thank you very much

      Hello Alba,

Thanks for the additional information. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to pass quiz data between embedded Storyline 360 blocks. When Storyline 360 blocks are embedded in a Rise 360 course, they can only deliver content to learners but cannot pass any sort of quiz data.

I'll let other members of the community chime in so they can share possible solutions to your design requirement!
