Localization Layout Issue: Text box has fewer lines of text after translation

Hello all,

I have a question about the Localization Layout Issue: Shape text box has fewer lines of text after translation.

Can you explain the impact of this issue? Can you also explain the impact of the related issue "Shape text box has additional lines of text after translation."

I don't see a way to resolve it, but I don't really see an issue with the slide layout as it is.

    Great question! In Storyline 360, differences in text length and formatting between languages can cause shape text boxes to have fewer or more lines after translation. This is what those warnings are referring to.

    The shorter translated text may result in fewer lines, which could affect slide alignment or spacing. Longer text can add extra lines, possibly overflowing the text box or disrupting the layout.

    If the translated slide still looks good and functions well for your learners, you may not need to make any changes. It really depends on whether the layout still meets your design goals.
