Logo Panel Size
Hi Joe,
The smallest size you could put in would be 1x1 - but I'm not sure you would want to do it that small.
Storyline will scale any logos that are bigger than the maximum to fit within the dimensions you indicated above. When you add a logo to your sidebar, Storyline will also include a border and slight shadow on it. If you are using a smaller logo, you may still it look blurry in the player preview, but how does it appear within the whole course preview or the Storyline published output? This is a much older example from Storyline but you can see a smaller logo fit, but it does leave a fair bit of white space based on the overall player width and height.
If you're logo is not behaving as you'd expect, we’d be happy to take a look at your file. You’ll want to upload the .story file here (which is the file prior to publishing) and the logo image using the “ADD ATTACHMENT” button at the bottom of the forums reply window. If you’d prefer to not share in the public forums you’re always welcome to share with our Support Engineers here. They’re available 24/7 to assist!
Hi there, thanks for the reply. I found the issue by reading through the code and as per my second edit above, the issue is caused by Storyline converting the PNG logo into a SWF.
I found an online PNG to SWF converter that preserved the transparency but crucially, maintained the quality as well.
