Lost file

I lost a file that I had been working on. It appears that autosave had not worked any time during building the story. I tried the (%appdata%\Articulate\Storyline) and the file does not show there at all. Does anyone know why it would not show at all?

    I'm sorry to hear that you are having an issue finding your Storyline file. I'm happy to help troubleshoot!

    • When working on a Storyline project, we recommend you work and save your file on your local hard drive. Working from a network drive can cause erratic behavior. Have you checked in the Documents folder > My Articulate Projects?
    • It sounds like you've looked in your temp files already. You can also try running a search for the term "*.story" in Windows File Explorer. 
    • Have you tried checking the recycle bin? You can open the recycle bin on your desktop and select Restore.
