Record Screen in Storyline 360- lost file?
Hi everyone,
I began a screen capture from the Storyline 360 home screen (not attached to a specific project), and the app crashed before I was able to fully save the project- is there any way it can be recovered?
Here's how far along I was:
- Clicked Record Screen from Storyline home screen
- Set up recording area
- Hit Record
- After screen capture, hit Done
- Saving progress window went to 100%
- Got to the Insert Slides pop up window, and while 'initializing project' the app crashed.
- Now I can't find any record of the screen capture.
Any help is appreciated!

First, please ensure you're working and saving your file on your local hard drive (typically your C: drive). Next, please test if this occurs in a brand new file. Hi jenniemac311 if the file did autosave, it will be located in this directory, or similar "C:\Users\your_user_profile_here\AppData\Roaming\Articulate\Storyline"

Thanks Sam, it didn't work, even with the help of my IT team, but I appreciate your reply. I'm new here & just getting my bearings in the program. Good thing it was a test file!
