Making transition between modules more visible

I am looking for a way to make the module transitions more blatant within a Rise course.

If I create a longer course with several modules, each with multiple lessons, when someone takes the course, the transition between modules is not noticeable except in the sidebar.

I would like to make those transitions more noticeable in the main part of the screen not just the sidebar, more like a lesson header or cover page.

Are there ways to do that?

Thanks

  • Hi Pete,

Interesting idea! You could use the same "text on image" block at the end of the lesson with no padding. You could add text or not. The image could be a big continue button or something visually announcing the end.

    Cheers,

    Julie

    Thanks Julie.

What is counterintuitive for me, is that a module is bigger than a lesson (can contain several lessons), but the movement from one module to the next would be within a lesson.

Hi there, Pete. It sounds like you're referring to the section headers in your Rise 360 course outline; is that right? And you'd like learners to know when they're moving on to a new section. Thanks for that use case; we'll update you if we make a change!

Yes, exactly I'd like the section headers to be displayed in the course when someone moves from one section to the next. Rather than just in the left course progress view.

I think it would help learners group related items together and possibly complete the whole course in increments, pausing between sections.

    Thanks for considering this.
