To add on, definitely no flashing, blinking, or strobing content, and reduce any sudden brightness changes. Allowing users to pause or disable motions when possible can help, avoid auto-play content, and if anything seems high-risk for light sensitivity providing alternative versions of the content is helpful.
This is a custom theme that uses an adaptive dark mode theme- meaning it uses the device preference to decide if the course is delivered in regular/default or with dark mode styles. Definitely a custom implementation, but the same technology commonly used on modern web sites.
