Since several subjects are being discussed here, I want to make sure I fully understand your question. Are you having trouble removing the shadow from the marker icon or the text within the marker label? Which version of Storyline are you using?

Thanks for clarifying! We don't have an option to remove the shadow, but you might consider removing the Animation and the Fill Color. Here's a quick look at what markers look like with and without the pulse animation.
