Matching drop-down graded question - not working with PC touchscreens
Hi! I've also been searching for this and came across this post. I'd just like to add in that we have experienced this bug (?) as well. When testing drop down boxes on a laptop touch screen, we aren't able to interact with it. Hopefully we can get some light shed on this issue from Articulate as it's definitely not ideal.
AliceLutrey-9a8 and SaraMcGuire-d23, Thanks for chiming in! You’re not alone! Others have run into the same thing with touchscreen laptops. These devices don’t trigger the mobile player in Storyline, so touch gestures (like tapping dropdowns or swiping) don’t always work as expected. We’ve shared this with our Product team as a feature request and are monitoring how it impacts folks. We really appreciate you adding your voice here!

Hi Lauren,
Echoing what Alice replied, we've also had to convert all of our drop down questions into multiple choice as while uncommon for a learner to encounter, it would completely stop their progression if their only device was a non-iPad tablet, or a laptop without a working touchpad (which is the case for one of our testing devices). We only recently started using drop downs as a way to replace drag-and-drops, so to now have to only use multiple choice is limiting in how we can develop questions.
I'd also like to anecdotally say that I'm not sure 'feature request' gives users a lot of reassurance that something will happen, particuarly when you say that you're monitoring how it impacts folks. Understandably, it's a niche circumstance to even discover this flaw, so it's probably not going to become a large scale impact as most users are on a PC or iPad. Niche as it is though, this issue seems less like a 'feature' and more like an oversight of development. Particuarly as it's outside of the behaviour users would expect when including it in their course. I totally understand that this is just the wording you're meant to be using, but I just wanted to provide some feedback on how that term is received as a user.
Thank you, and I'd love to hear about this being fixed soon so we're able to incorporate some more variety in our questions again.
