Media queries and font sizes on mobile devices

I've a client who's asked us to look into media queries in the scorm output of our courses, in order to improve text sizes on mobile devices.

storyline does not create a "typical" resposive html page
when publishing a course, the exact x, y position for each letters on the slide is determined and then positioned later by the player
it is therefore not possible to change the font sizes later - the letter size changes, but the position on the screen remains the same
- if the font size is increased, the letters will overlap
- if the font size is decreased, there will be empty space between the letters
