Mouse cursor in a black square automatically
Hello, am I the only one experiencing this issue? I select the desired cursor, but when I do a screen recording, it provides a different cursor (black square). I am using Windows 11.
Thank you for your response.

Hello C Dumont,
Thanks for reaching out!
Seeing a black square instead of a cursor definitely sounds like unusual behavior. Please try doing a repair of your Storyline 360 installation to see if this helps address the issue. It also sounds like you're running Storyline 360 on a virtual machine. Make sure that the VM meets the system requirements needed to run Storyline 360. If you're working on a Mac, you can check out this article on how to properly configure virtual environments to run Articulate 360.
If the issue persists, open a case with our support team here so we can take a closer look at what's happening!

Hi Tom,
Sorry to hear that you ran into a similar issue. Can I ask if you are working out of a virtual environment similar to C Dumont? And have you tried repairing your Storyline 360 installation as well?
If repairing doesn't work, please open a case with our support team. They'll be glad to help check why you're seeing a black square instead of a cursor.
