Multiple response question - scoring per answer
Hi all, I have a quiz with 11 questions:
- 1-9: True/False = 1 point each
- 10: multiple choie = 1 point
- 11: multiple response = 4 points. There are 5 possible answers to pick from with 4 correct answers.
The passmark is 13/14. Is there way to get the final question to give one mark for each correct answer rather than 4 marks if all 4 are correct and no marks if all four correct answers aren't selected?

Hi, Naseem,
While partial credit is not an off-the-shelf option in Storyline, it's a feature request our team has been tracking. I linked this discussion to the report, so you'll receive news when we have an update to share.
If you're not publishing to an LMS, then there are workarounds using variables. I linked a few discussions here and here that might be helpful to what you're trying to achieve.
Let me know if this works!

Hi Maria,
Thank you for replying. I've made some attempts are custom triggers/code, but it just doesn't seem to want to work when in preview mode. It will eventually be uploaded as a SCORM 1.2 file to an LMS. If I'm understanding you correctly are you saying that this wouldn't work under a SCORM 1.2 file if I used variables?
I found another post from a while back where it simply added 1 to the score if one of the correct checkboxes was selected. It is slightly annoying that it's not a standard feature as it's a standard question type for paper-based tests.
I'm going to go back to the author to see if they can suggested a different format for the question, is there anything you could suggest? The only way I can think of doing this to count each point is to split them into 5 extra questions as a True/False type.

Hi Naseem, I post a article about how to do that in drag and drop questions. Hope that might help you.
