Nan Error in Results Slide
Hello!
My team and I are making the transition from Captivate to the Articulate 360 Suite. I have some basic experience with SL but look forward to rockin' socks as I get better and better.
Anyway, a problem we had in Captivate (9 specifically) was the Nan error. I've seen several threads regarding numeric entries and Nan errors, but ours only seemed to come up on Results slides and when our module had a pre-test. FYI: The Results slide did not include pre-test results; it just seemed to only happen when a pre-test was in the module somewhere.
Have any of you had a similar problem with the Nan error coming up on Results slides in SL? I'd love to get in front of this issue before we start using SL for everything. Thanks!

Thanks, Rachel!
I see my teammate, Abel, is testing your file. You'll hear back with his findings shortly, and I'll follow along as I'm curious to know what's causing this error!

I just uploaded a file that is getting the same error. We've tried publishing to Tin Can API and SCORM and getting the same error in our LMS
So sorry you're running into that message, James.
I'm glad you reached out to us here, and excellent move to also open a support case! I see my teammate, Jose, is looking into some next steps for you to try as I type this. Keep an eye out for an email from him shortly!

Did any of you find a solution on this or have been provided with one? I have read all the threads related to this topic and still can't figure out how to solve it.
I am experiencing the exact same thing as @Christina.Thanks in advance.
Hi Alexandra,
We've seen this happen under two conditions, do either of these match what you're seeing:
- HTML5: Results.ScorePercent shows as "Nan" for a split second when Retrying when there's a Question bank question with a Jump-to-specific-slide-number trigger in the feedback layers.
- In Flash, the Results.ScorePercent would show as 0 when retrying.
If so, it's an open issue with our team, and we'll keep you posted here! If you think you've run into something else, could you share a copy of your .story file with us so that we can take a look?
You can share it publicly here, or send it to our Support Team here. We'll delete it when done troubleshooting.

I'm also getting this issue. To clarify, when you state, "HTML5: Results.ScorePercent shows as "Nan" for a split second when Retrying when there's a Question bank question with a Jump-to-specific-slide-number trigger in the feedback layers," if I have a trigger set on the Retry button on a Results Slide to restart the Assessment (i.e., Jump to slide X - Assessment), then that is why I'm receiving the flash of NaN? Do you guys have a solution yet to this? Thanks!

Hi Morgan!
We don't have any new updates to share. We've seen this error occurs when the button is triggered on a Feedback Layer. If you're seeing something different, please let me know so we can share it with our team.
Hello everyone!
For all of those who are you using Storyline 360, you'll be pleased to know that we just released the fix for this bug today in Storyline 360 Update 37 (Build 3.37.21453.0)!
The results slide will no longer show %infinity% or NaN when a user exits and resumes the course.
One of the benefits of an Articulate 360 subscription is that you get continuous updates when new features and bug fixes are available. To install the newest update for the Articulate 360 desktop app, simply click the blue Update button in the top right corner. The update will automatically download and install without any additional prompts.
If you run into any trouble, please let us know in this discussion!
