NEW FEATURE: Enhanced Quiz Feedback in Rise
We’re so excited to share the latest new feature in Rise: enhanced quiz feedback. This new feature lets you display specific feedback to learners depending on their answer choices.
This is super helpful when you want to give learners coaching when they select an incorrect answer. In this video, CTO Arlyn Asch walks you through how it works:

Hi folks! Now you can make quizzes more challenging. Show learners feedback without revealing correct answers! Find out how in this article. Enjoy!

Hi Ashley - it would be really helpful to be able to remove the indication of the correct answer when providing feedback that the learner incorrectly answered a quiz question. Instead, I'd like them to read the feedback and try to find the correct answer on their own before continuing.
Hey Rebecca,
You have some colleagues in the forums that agree with that suggestion as it is something we are currently tracking. I'll add this thread so that we can update you here if that becomes available.
Hi Colleen,
The answer reveal and question feedback are connected by design, but our team is keeping an eye on requests to separate those pieces. I'll let them know you're also interested in that function, and we'll keep you posted here if anything changes!
Also, learners are free to use the sidebar menu to review course content before they retake the quiz, as long as you have the sidebar enabled.
Hey everyone!
I know Mary and Martin will be glad to hear this and I wanted to pop in with a quick update:
We love knowledge checks so much, we gave them their own space!
Use the Knowledge Check category in the blocks library to add multiple choice, multiple response, fill-in-the-blank, and matching knowledge check blocks to your lessons. And easily switch existing knowledge checks from one question type to another.
You can read all about the latest release here.
Just let us know if you have any further questions.

I like the new feature but I can only use it when I turn on the quiz option "reveal answers" in the settings. I don't want my users to see the correct answer if they picked the incorrect choice. The user needs to retake the quiz but it provides the answer.
Hey Princess,
Thanks for jumping in to share that you're enjoying the new quiz feedback.
We do have a feature request filed to separate the answer reveal from the question feedback, which sounds like what you would like to see as well.
I'll add this conversation to the report so that we can update you here when we can.

Is the Quiz function available for Rise yet?
I see the knowledge checks but if I want to create a 5 question quiz how would I do this?
Hi Lisa,
Yes, you can create a Quiz in Rise. After you add your lesson title, you have the choice to create either a lesson or a quiz. You'd want to select quiz in your case. Here's an article that walks you through how to do that step by step.
Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with!

We would like to reiterate this need that was made 5 months ago. Any progress on this?

The feature of "show incorrect answer ONLY" in Rise, is it coming soon ??
My department is contemplating between Articulate and another quizmaking software and I'm rooting for Articulate!Hi Ain,
I'm sorry, but I don't currently have any updates to share here. That being said, you're now subscribed to this conversation which means as we share updates here, you’ll automatically be notified.

I NEED the option to reveal wrong answers without revealing correct answers because if you have an option to retry the quiz and you don't pass, then everyone will know the right answers after the first time through. Why was this designed this way? Please fix!
Hi Marcos,
Thanks for your feedback! I'll add your voice to this feature request.
