New in Review 360: Request Review
Are you sick of chasing down stakeholders to get them to review your courses? If so, you’re going to love being able to request and track reviews directly in Review 360. This handy new option will you save time—and headaches—by eliminating the need for endless back and forth with your stakeholders about where they’re at in the feedback process.
Here’s how it works: When you open a course in Review 360, you’ll see an all-new Review Request button.
Once you’ve selected that button, simply add stakeholder email addresses, share any additional information they might need, choose a due date, and hit Send Request.
From there, Review 360 saves you time by taking over the notification process. It will email reviewers about your project right away. And if you add a due date, it’ll automatically send reminder nudges to your reviewers just before, on, and after that date if they haven’t finished looking over your course.
And that’s not all! You and your stakeholders can now easily see where everyone is in the review process right within Review 360 thanks to the status labels that appear next to each reviewer’s name.
So you won’t need to email stakeholders to check up on them because you’ll already know what’s going on.
If you’re an Articulate 360 subscriber, you can access this new feature immediately in Review 360. And if you don’t have Articulate 360 but want to try out this feature, you can start a free 30-day trial. For more detailed information about this feature, check out this helpful article: Review 360: Request Review.
So let us know what you think of this new Review 360 feature in the comments below.
The Review 360 Team
Hi, everyone!
On behalf of the Review 360 Team, I'd like to thank you all for the valuable feedback. Your suggestions through the beta program guided us to develop additional features, such as:
- Allowing stakeholders to reset their status after completing a review for more flexibility.
- Sending a request to multiple reviewers simultaneously by copying and pasting their email addresses in bulk.
- Boosting the engagement in review request messages with a new text-formatting toolbar.
Request review is no longer in beta, but we're continuing to gather feedback and enhance the feature. You can still share your ideas through this discussion or the in-app "Share You Feedback" link.

This is a great idea! Three questions: 1) Roughly, when will this feature likely be 100% ready (done with testing)? 2) Can we see the progress of stakeholders who do not have a Storyline account (people referred to as "non-seat holders" in the earlier posts)? 3) Can the process of someone who receives a review link (but not assigned by a direct email address) be monitored as well?
Thanks.
Hi, everyone!
Thanks for reaching out and sharing your thoughts on the Request Review feature!
Please use our direct link to the feedback form if you have additional comments or ideas as our team reviews everything that is submitted. In the meantime, I'm happy to answer some of your questions!
- Currently, there is no way to lock the due date selected, so that stakeholders cannot change it.
- You can add the email address of a reviewer who doesn't have a seat on the team and will still be able to track their progress. That being said, you cannot track the progress of someone who may view the Review link without being sent a Review request invite.
I hope this helps!

Hi,
I am testing this out because I would like to use it with our SMEs for an upcoming review. I have the Allow users without Articulate IDs to comment selected, however when someone without an articulate ID tries to leave a comment they are prompted to set up an account. Is there a way to use this with individuals in which they do not have to set up an account even a free one?
Thanks
Hi Kim,
Thanks for reaching out! That behavior does sound strange. If the Allow users without Articulate IDs to comment option is selected, and commenters do not have an Articulate ID, they should only be asked for an email address and not prompted to create an account.
Kindly share the affected email addresses of your SMEs and the Review 360 link with us privately in a support case so we can investigate. We're happy to help!

I love this feature -- and the fact that Articulate is always improving! Question though. We are ready to send out a course for beta review and my client is concerned about security (she doesn't want the course to be shared around as it is going behind a paywall when approved). If we specify reviewers by email and provide a password, is this sufficient to keep reviewers from sharing the content with others?
Hi Ellen,
I'm happy to hear that you're loving the new Review 360 feature!
I see you've also connected with my teammate, Mark, in a support case, good call! Let's continue the conversation in your support case to keep all the information in one place, but I'm happy to assist further as needed!

it would be great if we could have automation, where you assign an SME email to a course and every x number of months a review request is sent out. We update our courses quite frequently so would save us a lot of time
Hi Ben,
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts regarding automation for Review requests! We'll be sure to update this thread if any adjustments are made to this feature in the future.
Hello everyone!
I’m excited to share our latest improvement to Request Review—the ability to reopen a review! We heard from many of you that this would improve the review process for your stakeholders.
We moved the button to complete a review into a new “Your Review” section above the “Request Review” details. Once a review is complete, a More (•••) icon displays in the top-right corner. Click the icon to show an option to reopen the review, as shown below.
This enhancement is the first of more improvements in the overall review process. We’ll continue to post here as we release more updates.
As always, we want to hear your feedback! The “Share Your Feedback” link in Review 360 is the best place to share your thoughts. We love all the great feedback and ideas from all of you!

Not sure if this has already been covered, but if you have ROUNDS of reviews, so stage 1 then stage 2 for instance, how do you handle that in here? I cannot see how to resend an item out for review once the reviewer has marked it as complete.

Great enhancement! We need this ability to work as a team. Go Articulate!!

Can we also get an option to resend the review invite? Or copy a link to the review invite so I can paste it into MS Teams... the need to stalk stakeholders is still there unfortunately, but this does make everything so much easier!
Hi Enid,
Happy to help!
You'll need to make sure that you're signed in using the account that was used to publish the course to Review 360 in order to see the 'Review Request' option. No need to republish any courses to see this option. If you're still not seeing the 'Review Request' option for your courses in Review 360, try signing out and then signing back in or clearing your browser's cache to see if this helps.
Hi Jennifer,
I agree that a resend feature would be super helpful to remind reviewers to leave a comment on your courses. While this feature isn't available right now, you can simple delete an existing review request and make a new one to resend the invitation.

Is there a way to customize the message that comes from Review, so that our internal business reviewer see our email address instead of review360?
Hello Michelle,
The only thing that can be customized right now is the message that is included in each Review Request that is sent out.
There isn't a way to change the email account that is used to send this message from and the message included in the automated email that is sent out, unfortunately.

It would be nice if we received the email message, so we can see what our Reviewers are seeing. I started adding myself as a Reviewer also, so I would receive the email notification my Reviewers receive.

I need to also document that the Review Request email was sent to the reviewers. Since it does not show up in my outgoing email. Is there any way to CC myself on the Review Request?
Hello AV,
There isn't a way to CC yourself in the email that gets sent out right now, but this sounds like a great feature to have! If you need to document that a request has been sent out, you can check the users that have been invited under the "Request Review" section.
