New in Review 360: Request Review
Are you sick of chasing down stakeholders to get them to review your courses? If so, you’re going to love being able to request and track reviews directly in Review 360. This handy new option will you save time—and headaches—by eliminating the need for endless back and forth with your stakeholders about where they’re at in the feedback process.
Here’s how it works: When you open a course in Review 360, you’ll see an all-new Review Request button.
Once you’ve selected that button, simply add stakeholder email addresses, share any additional information they might need, choose a due date, and hit Send Request.
From there, Review 360 saves you time by taking over the notification process. It will email reviewers about your project right away. And if you add a due date, it’ll automatically send reminder nudges to your reviewers just before, on, and after that date if they haven’t finished looking over your course.
And that’s not all! You and your stakeholders can now easily see where everyone is in the review process right within Review 360 thanks to the status labels that appear next to each reviewer’s name.
So you won’t need to email stakeholders to check up on them because you’ll already know what’s going on.
If you’re an Articulate 360 subscriber, you can access this new feature immediately in Review 360. And if you don’t have Articulate 360 but want to try out this feature, you can start a free 30-day trial. For more detailed information about this feature, check out this helpful article: Review 360: Request Review.
So let us know what you think of this new Review 360 feature in the comments below.
The Review 360 Team
Hi, everyone!
On behalf of the Review 360 Team, I'd like to thank you all for the valuable feedback. Your suggestions through the beta program guided us to develop additional features, such as:
- Allowing stakeholders to reset their status after completing a review for more flexibility.
- Sending a request to multiple reviewers simultaneously by copying and pasting their email addresses in bulk.
- Boosting the engagement in review request messages with a new text-formatting toolbar.
Request review is no longer in beta, but we're continuing to gather feedback and enhance the feature. You can still share your ideas through this discussion or the in-app "Share You Feedback" link.

I'm not sure what I have done wrong here. I published a course this morning and invited two reviewers using the beta review tab. They received their emails, have access and they can leave comments using the feedback comment sidebar. However, when I log into the course to review it, I can see the feedback sidebar as if it is minimized but I can't access/expand it, it appears as a grey bar that I cannot use. I can reply to comments the reviewers leave when I use the feedback tab but I cannot log new comments myself.
I am logged in, so should I not be able to leave feedback because I authored the course or should I have invited myself as a reviewer? On that note the beta review invite tab no longer appears, so I cannot invite new reviewers but it is probably inside the feedback sidebar I can no longer access.

Hello again everyone!
We just shipped the ability to paste reviewers' email addresses in bulk! Now you can quickly add reviewers by copying the list of email addresses from anywhere and pasting it on the Assigned Reviewers field. Use any form of separator (ex., commas, semi-colons, spaces, cells in spreadsheets). We'll extract the email addresses from the clipboard and add them automatically.
We hope this enhancement saves you some time and effort when requesting reviews. Try it out, and let us know what you think! All your feedback has been very valuable!

So excited about all the positives this new feature brings. As previously suggested I think the option of an approval feature would be the cherry on the top!

HOLY SMOKES!!!! This is a fantastic feature and a game changer for how we need to complete reviews! An approve button would also be a huge help!

I have used the Request Review feature several times now and love it. My biggest need would be to restrict a reviewer's ability to click the "I'm done reviewing" button if they have not actually reviewed the entire course. I have tried sending the course with restricted navigation on, as well as continue block "governors" in place, etc. But the "I'm done reviewing" button appears as soon as you launch the review page, so those who want to 'skip' out on the work can easily do so.

During beta, is it only the person with licence that has access to the 'Review Complete' button and that shows progress on whether the content was viewed, commented, completed? I've just issued something for review to a group of people but it was only myself that had access to the 'Review Complete' button. I asked someone who had the review link to check and they just had a blank screen under review, no button to complete the review.
Hi Rachel!
Thanks for reaching out and sharing the screenshots!
The behavior your colleagues are encountering does sound strange. Even if a reviewer is not signed into Articulate 360, they still should see the comments section in the Review tab as shown in the screenshot below:
As troubleshooting steps, I would suggest your colleagues try:
- Clearing the cache of the browser being used, then access the link again.
- Using different browsers to determine if the behavior is specific to one.
- Opening the link in incognito mode to rule out browser extensions causing the issue.
If that doesn't do the trick, please let us know here in the discussion or reach out to our support engineers so we can continue troubleshooting with you!

Great product, but reviewers should not have to have a license to post reviews.
Hi BJ,
Happy to chime in!
I can confirm that reviewers don't need to have a license to leave a review. Anyone can leave a review on a Review 360 link, and with this option left unchecked, users won't even need to create an Articulate ID to do so.

Are there any APIs available to export this data? For an example, we want to be able to track how long it takes for reviewers to complete the review and share it in a dashboard to provide visibility to management. Bringing light to where the bottlenecks are.

Hi - I love this! Does adding a due date mean the review request is no longer available beyond this point?
- DanBackesStaff
Setting a due date just configures when reminder emails will be sent. Reviewers who have not marked their review as completed will receive a reminder email the day before, the day of and the day after the due date. The review will remain available after the due date passes.

Aw man - was hoping to wrangle SMEs to avoid having to revisit 'signed off' feedback. Thanks for your response Dan :)
