NEW IN STORYLINE 360: Slide Numbers
Is it just me or is the addition of the 20 or how ever many 'Built in' variables in the drop down super annoying after this update. I only want to see the variables that I create as I will never use this feature.

Hi Mike
you have the option to click a tab to see only the variables you created
Enhanced: Variables are easier to find and manage. We redesigned the variables window with separate tabs for variables you create and those that are built-in. And there's a search field that filters the list as you type.

I'm talking about the Trigger Wizard window. Click Variable and it is populated with all the new variables by default. Any way to have these not show?

There is an option to filter and show only user created variables.

I can see the tab in the variables window Phil but not in the trigger wizard or am I missing something

Wendy I only read part of the replies before responding on my phone. No there is no filter for the dropdown.

I find it helpful just to name my variables with starting letters (A-L), so they will be at the top of the list - since it displays alphabetically.
All the built-in variables start off with "Menu", "Project", or "Scene."
Naming your variables so they float to the top (or bottom if you use R-Z) helps to make this less frustrating.
