New Radius Feature - Marquee on Shapes
Hello,
I'm thankful for the new control over the radius of corners in the Format Picture window, but these little marquee buttons are causing me a lot of rework while moving my buttons/shapes around. When I click my shape, it quickly changes all of my corners to be more round (going from 5 to 19), and I cannot take it anymore! I've had to do a lot of rework today.
Is there any way to change the UI back to how it was while working?

I agree that the corner-radius feature can be frustrating. I suggested adding the ability to lock the corners in the Suggest Ideas section of this site: Add ability to lock corner-radius settings | Articulate - Community
For the best impact, though, I suggest submitting a feature request directly to Articulate:
YES! I'm having the same issue! I came here to see if anyone else was. It's driving me nuts! I have text in mine and every time I go to edit the text it edits the corners instead. It seems to be the worst with smaller objects where it's harder to select the text vs resizing the corners.
Yes! I deal with a lot of smaller shapes as buttons so I have to go back and check that I haven't messed things up while making changes. It's slowing me down!

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with Corner Radius Formatting in Storyline!
Unfortunately, toggling of the UI is not yet supported. I'm happy to share this as a request with our product team, on your behalf!
In the meantime, when working with smaller shapes, I suggest using the 'adjust by percentage' option, in lieu of clicking and dragging the corners.
This should help you dial in the desired curvature, more precisely!
StevenBenassi please remove the marquees right away, they are causing a lot and I mean A LOT of rework with small shapes, every-time you click a shape you end-up changing the corners of the shape making a square all the sudden become a circle and you just cant be shaping and reshaping every single time you touch a square is just non-sense. Even pasting the format from one shape to the other can cause a corners change, is just ridiculous.

The issue I'm having is more that when I click to drag an object on my slide, instead of moving the object I'm hitting these little corner shapers and it's changing the shape of the object's corners when I just want to move the object itself.
Thanks anyway! I hope there's a fix for this in the future as it can be infuriating when I just want to drag an item and it changes shape on me!
