New Rise Feature: Send a Copy
We've shipped another much-requested feature for Rise. You can now easily send a copy of your course to another Rise author. It's a great feature when you need to share a source file with a client or colleague.
Here's a Peek vid on the feature:

Keep in mind that both parties will have an independent copy of the same project. Changes you make to the course won't appear in the other author's version, and vice versa. Soon we will be releasing the Collaborators feature which will allow multiple authors to work on the same course.
Enjoy!

Hi,
I am new to Rise. May I ask if the sections created from Storyline are copied as well? And when you receive a copy of the course, would you also be able to see the other published Storyline files from the original sender account?
Thank you.
Hi Princess, and Welcome to the ELH Community!
The Storyline block is pulled into the Rise course, so if you share that with another Rise user they'll also have the block present. If they delete the Storyline block by accident, since it's stored in your Articulate Review account, they won't have the option to add it back in. They can only see what you've added to the Rise course you shared, not everything you've created in Rise or Review.
Hope that helps!

Is there anyway to convert from Rise to Storyline 360? Not just uploading to watch but to also be able to then later edit in Storyline. We are thinking of converting all training to the Storyline 360 but we still have some courses in Rise.
Hi April,
Right now, there isn’t a way to do this.
You can embed Rise courses into Storyline 360. Just copy the shareable web link for your Rise course and paste it into a web object. However, any editing will need to be done in Rise.
Please let me know if I can help with any other questions.

I noticed that the recipient has to have a valid Rise license to be able to receive the files. Is there any way to work around not knowing the email address associated with their subscription?
Hi Jennifer,
No, you need to know the email address associated with their subscription to send them a copy of the course.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Can I share a course with others without giving them edit ability?
- baileybowyerCommunity Member
The only way to share a course without giving them the option to edit is to send it using the Share option
- AmyHarry-2f66c4Community Member
I just saw that option. Thanks! This is my first time using Rise. :)
Welcome to Articulate 360, Amy! In addition to the Share URL, you can use the Review option to collect feedback about your course. Your course will be hosted on the Review 360 dashboard, and when you give people that link, they'll be able to leave comments relative to the different lessons in your course.
Let us know how else we can help!

Great. I've been using Review for Storyline, so this is good news. Thanks!

Hi there, just jumping in here with a question.
Can we also send a copy to others when we are in trial?
Thank you!
Hi there, Shirleen! Yes, you can send a copy of your course to someone when you're in trial.

Just a brief question about sending a copy: Can you see (somewhere) who you sent a copy to?
Thanks for your prompt reply.
Hi there, Ernst-Jan. There isn't a log that shows who you sent a copy to.
- Ernst-JanBakkerCommunity Member
Ah, ok. Thanks!
Best regards,
Ernst-Jan

What is someone just send you the link and not make a copy in their email. How can I copy the file into my rise courses?
Hi Venice! When someone sends you a Share link to their Rise 360 course, they're inviting you to preview the course. Those links look like this:
https://rise.articulate.com/share/123abc456defIn order to get a copy that you can edit added to your dashboard, the course owner will need to use the feature described in this post. There isn't a way to copy the course to your dashboard using the Share link. Let me know if you have other questions!
