New to Storyline: Playhead issue

Hello. When I click Pause in the timeline, the scene goes back to the beginning. The playhead stays in the right place (170 sec, for example), but the scene displays what's at 0 sec. In addition, ...

Hi Thomas!

This is not the behavior I'm seeing. I think I misunderstood what you are reporting. I am able to pause the timeline and insert a caption if I want, when I hit play the timeline begins where I left it.

If you are using 'Stop', this would take it back to the beginning:

You can preview a slide using the player controls in the lower left corner of the timeline.

  • Click the Play/Pause button once to start the playhead (blue vertical line) moving along the timeline.
  • Click the Play/Pause button again to pause the playhead at its current location.
  • Click the Stop button to end the preview and return the playhead to beginning of the timeline.
