New Video Not Playing Issue
Hey y'all,
So, you know how there was that big audio issue over the last few weeks, where the mp3 was not playing at the start of random slides once the content was published and uploaded to either Rise or an LMS? Well, I'm seeing a similar issue that is occurring with video files now. I have a number of slides in a presentation that play a mp4 file at the start of a slide that will run for the entirety of those slides, and I'm now encountering videos that are now randomly not playing at the very start of those slides, in a fashion similar to the recent audio bug.
I have conducted several reviews, finding a different slide(s) affected every time, and made attempts to fix the issue myself. I confidently recognize it as being similar to the mp3 issue because I was also amongst the many dealing with that audio bug; waiting on that recent update that came out this week (which appears to have fixed that particular issue).
Anyone else experiencing this issue? It may have not been noticed/experienced by many yet because I imagine a lot of designers are more dependent on mp3 than mp4s in their content.
I just submitted a ticket regarding it, but felt it would be good to bring it up here as well – for the sake of awareness.

I haven't run into it with videos yet, but the way you're describing it does sound very similar to the recent audio issue. The fact that different slides are affected on different reviews makes it feel less like a file problem and more like something happening during playback or loading.
Definitely interested to hear what support comes back with, especially if others start reporting the same thing.
Just realized that I meant to say "uploaded to either Review 360 or an LMS?", not "Rise or an LMS?"
The dangers of alliteration in branding... :PI feel seen. Just made the same app name mixup when reporting the same issue for video not playing. 😁 Our courses are working fine on desktops but not iphones.
