I'm so sorry you've hit this snag and I'm happy to help troubleshoot. I tested your file, and I was able to replicate this issue, even after importing the course into a new Storyline file. I've shared this issue with our team to determine if it's a possible software bug, and you'll be hearing from one of our talented Support Engineers soon via email.
In the meantime, we found a quick fix which is to create a custom layer that displays the mail and button without the red dot. Please see button 3 in this example to see how it's set up!
